I became interested in therapy through meditation practice that both helped calm my mind and made me acutely aware of states that were making my life unhappy. A search for ways to transform the negatives lead me to therapies that had a strong body/mind connection and I received training in Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT).
